BESPOKE
New And Unique Jewellery Led By You:
Bespoke commissions make up the bulk of my work and I love them! Often times bespoke pieces are commissioned as gifts for events such as Birthdays, Engagements, Celebrations etc. Equally I get a lot of requests to make pieces for the buyer themselves and I say more power to you!
If you have an idea, however vague, for a piece of jewellery we can arrange a consultation either in person, via Zoom or even through Email or Instagram to talk through ideas, themes, inspiration etc. The sky is the limit!
You can use previous pieces from my portfolio or my store as a jumping off point for inspiration, bring your own ideas and materials to the table or we can start from the ground up!
I work in Silver, Gold and Platinum as well as various gemstones and unique materials so I am sure we can craft a piece that is unique, special and meaningful to you!.
REMODEL
Bring New Life From Unworn Pieces:
More and more I am getting inquiries and jobs to do remodels.
Remodelling involves melting down old, unused pieces of jewellery to create something contemporary that speaks to you and will actually be worn and loved.
Whether you have some old unworn pieces lying around, bits beyond repair or you have inherited a ring that holds a special place in your heart but in all actuality will never get worn, we can collaborate on ideas to make something new from old.
Examples of remodels I have worked on include turning an inherited Woman's Bracelet into a fitted Gent's Ring and melting old wedding rings down into a set of Pendants to be handed out amongst the younger generation.
Jewellery holds stories and life, remodelling is a way to keep that life going and share it as opposed to it sitting in a drawer.
REPAIR
Put That Ring Back On You Finger:
Although metal is a durable material and jewellery can last hundreds of years (I've worked on some late Victorian pieces) inevitably your jewellery will at some point need repair.
This could be a stone fallen out, the claws holding your diamond wearing thin, a ring cut off or otherwise needing to be resized or any other number of things.
I have 2+ years experience in repairs day in and day out and I am confident in achieving many repairs and in identifying the work needed to get your jewellery returned and wearable! I have soldered tiny chains, repaired settings and matched engraved patterns, among many other repairs!
When there are processes I am not so confident in, I know a great many artisans, some with over 40 years experience!
Rest assured your jewellery will be looked after and repaired to the highest level, either by me or by one of the best if it is not my specialty!

The Journey
All of my Commissions are centered around you and your needs.
They all carry stories; the story of our collaboration in making them, the stories they are inspired by and the occasions they are made for.
Whether you have a definitive vision for your new jewel or its a blank canvas to be discovered, we can design and create something amazing together!
We can:

Alter and take inspiration from designs from my store

Create something completely new with your materials of choice or heirloom gemstones

Design around a concept or a stone (or both!)
Bespoke pieces can take up to 10 weeks to be completed but that can be discussed and a timeframe established in your free consultation.
A deposit is required before production commences.
Designing
Every piece goes through an extensive process of collaborative designing, from sketches to CAD renders and sometimes even rough prototypes and experimentation of processes!
Each of these designs are fed back and forth before being developed to make something achievable and amazing.
We use my technical knowledge to make sure your jewels will last and wow without compromising the elements that make them yours.
Making
Once you are perfectly happy with the design and concept it is time for me to get to sourcing stones/ materials and then to make the piece!!
There are still choices to be made at this time to get your ultimate and personalised jewel.
For example, you can choose the exact stone from a selection which I will already have shortlisted and handpicked.
I will almost always send you updates on how the piece is progressing and this quite often serves as opportunities to make any minor last minute adjustments as the piece comes together.
